Formerly known as Lifts for Gifts, this annual powerlifting event now proudly benefits The Boys & Girls Club of San Juan County. Every rep and every cheer helps provide local Club kids with warm sweatshirts and gloves this winter.
With almost 700 active youth attending Club sites daily — plus hundreds more in sports programs like volleyball and basketball — your support helps give our future leaders a safe, nurturing space to grow, learn, and belong.

What started as one man’s dream — Cory Eddy, our Restoration Division Head — has grown into a powerful community tradition. A decade of powerlifting taught Cory that true strength comes from lifting others. His vision gave rise to Lifts for Gifts, an annual event using the energy of competition to inspire healthier lifestyles and rally local businesses around a cause that matters.

Format: Record Breakers — athletes select one pressing event and one deadlift event, then all compete in a mystery grip challenge.
Divisions: All USS weight classes (Open, Masters, Juniors/Teen, LW–HW, Women & Men).
Charity Tie-In: The Corndog Classic is paired with the Lifts for Gifts Charity Event, raising money for the local Boys & Girls Club. All proceeds — including athlete registration fees and spectator entry fees — will go toward the purchase of hoodies for kids in need.
