The Treston Project
$10,000.
One family.
Every year.
A home services company cannot cure cancer or undo an accident. It can pay a mortgage for a while, and it can make sure a family in the worst year of their life knows the whole town is watching out for them.
How it works
Nominated by neighbors, not applied for
There is no form to fill in and no means test. Somebody who knows the family tells us about them.
01
Somebody nominates them
A neighbor, a co-worker, a teacher, a nurse. Almost never the family themselves — people in the middle of it rarely put their own hand up.
02
We go and look
Quietly. We are a service company; we are used to being in people’s houses and we know the difference between a hard month and a year that has taken everything.
03
We knock on the door
With $10,000 and a camera, because the point is partly to show the rest of the Four Corners that this is a place where that happens.
The families
Every year we have filmed it
Not because it makes good marketing, but because the families asked us to — most of them wanted whoever nominated them to see it.
Nominate someone
If you know a family who should be next, tell us
Call either office, message us, or stop a technician in the street. Tell us who they are and what has happened. We read every one of them, and we do not share names with anyone.
Also funded by M&R
- The Corndog Classic — formerly Lifts for Gifts, a sanctioned strongman event that funds the Boys & Girls Club.
- 750 hoodies handed to Boys & Girls Club kids in 2024.
- A donated sewer line for Inspire HeART in Aztec.
- Irrigation for the Glade, restored with Ace Services and the City of Farmington.
The rest of the time, we are on the tools
The rest of the time we fix pipes, furnaces, panels and flooded houses. Call either office.
